Culture Shock: Roman Greenwich

Sophie Charalambous collaborated with Greenwich and Lewisham Young People’s Theatre and The Greenwich Heritage Centre on an Arts Project for young people to design the set for a fashion show showcasing the work of students from Greenwich College.

 The theme of the event was Roman Greenwich and it was part of the London 2012 Olympiad project “Stories of the World: London.”

Sophie led summer and half term Backstage workshops, where the young people developed their ideas into designs; creating collages, models and mobiles. They then scaled up their work and installed it in the Heritage Centre for the show.
